I vote for Bowman for First aid, because he's the most cautious.

Crew Quartermaster(s) – The Quartermaster role may be multiple roles split up by gear type: personal gear & crew gear; tents; stoves; fuel; water purification; etc. These persons will assist Crew Members with plans for personal gear as well as planning for Crew Gear. Every member must be familiar with all Crew Gear – contents, operation, set-up, etc. The Quartermasters will be responsible for the training of the crew gear operation and set-up. The Quartermaster will plan gear shakedowns during the preliminary trips planned prior to the Philmont expedition. The Quartermaster will plan what gear will be provided by our crew and what gear will be provided by Philmont.
Crew Medic / First Aid – All Crew members must be trained in rudimentary first aid. Red Cross First Aid and CPR training will be planned by the Crew Medic. The Crew Medic should be particularly familiar with signs of health issues and first aid techniques and will be responsible for ensuring that adequate first aid supplies are planned.
Crew Philmont Scientist /Historian – The Cimarron, NM and Philmont area is a natural outdoor biological, geological, archaeological, and historical laboratory and museum. This person will become familiar with the science of the area and the history and should be able to identify sites observed from the tops of mountains climbed during the trip. This person will be responsible for reporting artifacts by following Philmont’s procedure.
Crew Meteorologist – This person will become familiar with the expected weather conditions that may be encountered during the expedition. This person will understand weather signs and know what to do when they are encountered.
Crew Hiking Lead – This person will work with the Crew Leader to plan hiking techniques and to use them on the preparation hikes. This person is responsible for encouraging all Crew Members to prepare adequately for the expedition. This person is responsible for training the Crew on hiking safety. During the expedition, this person will be responsible for reminding the Crew of hiking safety protocol.
Crew Camping Lead – This person will work with the Crew Leader to plan camping techniques and to use them on the preparation campouts. This person is responsible for training the Crew on camping safety including bear bags, campsite layout, cat-hole latrine location (if required), etc. During the expedition, this person will be responsible for reminding the Crew of camping safety protocol.
Crew Duty Roster Planner – This person will work with the Crew Leader to determine how duties will be split among the Crew. Some of the duties will include: water purification, stove set-up, cooking, dishwashing, trash disposal, bear bags, etc.
Crew Activity Planner – This person is responsible for understanding the activities planned during the expedition including time and location. This person must investigate the activities prior to the expedition to ensure that all Crew Members are properly prepared with appropriate clothing, etc.
Crew Awards Planner – This person will be responsible for understanding Philmont awards and providing this information to the rest of the crew. If the crew desires to achieve an award that requires preparation prior to the expedition, this person will plan any activities.
Crew Hydrologist – This person is responsible for knowing all water sources during the expedition as well as recommendation for daily water needs. This person will work with the Crew Quartermaster to ensure adequate/appropriate purification is planned.

a couple of the jobs that were in a file in an email a while back. They are the jobs that Philmont recommends. Maybe we could use one of those or combine or tweak them to fit our crew.

maybe the people who don't have jobs yet should look at the descriptions and think about the one they would want to have... we might have to assign them.. or split the jobs up somehow. All the jobs that jenny posted are important, we only hit the core ones at the last meeting. We should figure this out soon.
